North Carolina Foam Ind. "591 Series" urethane foam insulation may be used as an alternate to "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" in any of the non-combustible systems listed below.

Any of the systems listed below may be covered with a field mixed coating composed of "Pro-Tech Products Dry Mix" (40 lbs), Rohm & Haas MC-76 (1/2 gal), Rhone-Poulenc Colloid 622 (3/4 oz), 4-1/2 gal. Water applied per 100 sq ft.

Young Builders Roofing "DuraGard Roof Mix" may be used in lieu of "Pro-Tech Dry Mix II" in any of the following roofing systems.

SPRAY APPLIED FOAM AND COATING SYSTEMS

Class A

1. Deck: NC Incline: 1
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" insulation, min 1 in. thick.
Base coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
Top coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
2. Deck: NC Incline: 1-1/2
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" insulation, 1 in. thick.
Base coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
Top coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
3. Deck: NC Incline: 1/2
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" or Polythane Systems SH-200-25 insulation, min 1 in. thick.
Base coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
Top coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.
4. Deck: C-15/32 Incline: 1/4
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Products Urethane Foam", or Polythane Systems SH-200-25 insulation, min 2 in. thick.
Coating: — Two or three coats EC-100, at 1-1/4 gal/sq/coat with "Pro-Tech Granules" (not UL Classified) at 64 lb/sq imbedded into one of the wet coats.
Surfacing: — Mixture of "Pro-Tech Products Dry Mix" (40 lbs), Rohm & Haas MC-76 (1/2 gal), Rhone-Poulenc Colloid 622 (3/4 oz) and water (4-1/2 gal.) spray applied per 100 sq ft.
5. Deck: C-15/32 Incline: 1/2 Impact: 1
Tape: — All joints in deck taped with one layer of 2 mil thick aluminum backed 2 in. wide tape.
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" insulation only, min 1 in. thick.
Coating: — Two or three coats EC-100, at 1-1/4 gal/sq/coat with "Pro-Tech Granules" (not UL Classified) at 64 lb/sq imbedded into one of the wet coats.
Surfacing: — Mixture of "Pro-Tech Dry Mix II" (40 lbs), Rohm & Haas MC-76 (1/2 gal), Rhone-Poulenc Colloid 622 (3/4 oz) and water at (3-1/2 to 4-1/2 gal.) spray applied per 100 sq ft.
6. Deck: NC Incline: Unlimited Impact: 1
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" insulation only, min 1 in. thick.
Coating: — Two or three coats EC-100, at 1-1/4 gal/sq/coat with "Pro-Tech Granules" (not UL Classified) at 64 lb/sq imbedded into one of the wet coats.
Surfacing: — Mixture of "Pro-Tech Dry Mix II" (40 lbs), Rohm & Haas MC-76 (1/2 gal), Rhone-Poulenc Colloid 622 (3/4 oz) and water at (3-1/2 to 4-1/2 gal) spray applied per 100 sq ft.

Base/Top Coat: — "EC-100" at 1-1/2 gal/sq (two applications) plus Granules (50 lbs/sq) imbedded into one of the wet coats.
Surfacing: — Mixture of "Pro-Tech Dry Mix II" (40 lbs), Rohm & Haas MC-76 (1/2 gal), Rhone-Poulenc Colloid 622 (3/4 oz) and water at (3-1/2 to 4-1/2 gal.) spray applied per 100 sq ft.
8. Deck: 15/32 Incline: 1/2

Base/Top Coat: — "EC-100"or "Pro-White" at 1-1/2 gal/sq (two applications).

Class B

1. Deck: C-15/32 Incline: 1/2
Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" insulation, min 1 in. thick.
Base coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq followed immediately with "Pro-Tech Granules" (not UL Classified) at 50 lb/sq imbedded in wet coating.
Top coat: — EC-100, at 1-1/2 gal/sq.

Foam: — "Pro-Tech Urethane Foam" or Polythane systems SH-200-25 insulation, min 2 in. thick.
